Vintage Conditions |
The growing season that produced the grapes to make this wine was
long and cool. The cool summer ripened the grapes very slowly, which was favourable
for maximum flavour development. Flavour intensity is at its peak at sugar levels
that are correspondingly high. |
Winemakers Comments |
The colour is pale straw yellow. Good apple characters with hints
of peach/melon fruit on the nose. Activity medium. A fresh zingy palate typical
of the tank fermented style, showing tropical melon fruit with hints of ripe fig
and peach. Persistence of flavour medium with good intensity of fruit. |
