Vintage Conditions |
The growing season that produced the grapes to make this wine was cool. The cool summer
ripened the grapes very slowly, which was favourable for maximum flavour development. The fruit was
picked with good varietal characteristics evident and good natural acid. |
Winemakers Comments |
The colour is bright pale lemon yellow. Intense tropical and floral aromas are evident.
Hints of musk and honeysuckle. Medium to high activity. A fresh clean palate. Citrus and floral
characters dominate with herbal notes. High intensity and excellent length. |
Food Accompaniments |
Riesling is suited as an aperitiff with hors d'oeuvres and will also complement fish
and Asian style dishes. |
