Vintage Conditions |
The growing season that produced the grapes to make this wine was long and cool.
The cool summer ripened the grapes very slowly, which was favourable for maximum flavour development.
Flavour intensity is at its peak at sugar levels that are correspondingly high. |
Winemakers Comments |
This wine is a blend of 60% Sauvignon Blanc and 40% Chardonnay grapes. The aromes are
complex tropical fruits with hints of green bean and gooseberry. The palate has lemon/lime citrus
characters to add to the tropical fruits. Herbaceous characters add further complexity. |
