Vintage Conditions |
The growing season that produced the grapes to make this wine was long and cool.
The cool summer ripened the grapes very slowly, which was favourable for maximum flavour development.
Flavour intensity is at its peak at sugar levels that are correspondingly high. |
Winemakers Comments |
The colour is deep ruby magenta with medium purple hue.The aromas are rich ripe dark fruit
characters with spices and white pepper evident together with integrated spicey vanillan oak. The palate
reveals the ripe berry fruits and spicey characters. Subtle integrated oak gives good palate weight and
structure. Medium to fine grain tannins with good persistence are evident. |
